Here is an interesting reason for writing a post. The image on the last post is enormous. I can't seem to make it smaller, and it strikes a poor visual note in the stream of blog posts. I am a designer. I could take another photograph or try and recrop the master of the original image, but this seemed quicker – a post without an image.

What can I discuss that won't look better with an image? Well, I could discuss my work as a freelance book designer/craft editor/pattern checker.
