This weekend I discovered that if you search for my Facebook page using my name, you may not find it. Adding the tags knit or knitting will help, but my page still does not appear near the top of the list.

I am grateful to the lady who showed me that people would find my family and friends facebook page. They may not realise it is me, but if they did, they could see more about me than I would like to be generally known. I thought that with my unusual maiden name my page would be near the top of any search.

I set up the page so that people who met at my workshops could get in touch and share images of their finished projects. Should I have set up a group? I think my lack of Facebook experience shows.

I have a voucher for advertising on Facebook. I may use it now rather than in the Autumn as I had planned.
